RMS is fortunate to have received several significant donations over the years from kind and generous souls. They have been enormously valuable in enabling the Society to conduct its various programmes across the country thereby extending its support for mathematics and mathematicians. - June 6th, 2000: Sampathkumar's donation of Rs 5,000 for the Building Fund .
- 2013: Ravi Kulkarni's donation of Rs 1 lakh for the Building Fund in July 2013 and Rs 18,000 for staff-salaries in July 2013.
- 2011: Ravi Kulkarni's donation of Rs 2 lakhs ear-marked for air-travel for EC-members , and for conducting the Regional Programmes.
- 2008: Rs.5 Lakhs made by S.K. Vijayalakshamma, K.C. Sekhar and K. Padmavathy of Bangalore, in memory of their brother, distinguished mathematician and scholar, the late S.K. Lakshman Rao, to be ear-marked for workshops and travel support for young researchers.
- July 5th, 2006: Manjul Bhargava's donation of $5,000.
- July 5th, 2006: Foundation for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences from India's donation of $6000 for the Collected Works Series.
